Football Recap: Centennial Baptist's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

The third road matchup was the charm for Centennial Baptist, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They snuck past the Wilder Wildcats with a 36-30 win on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Gavin Kolb looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 111 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight passes, while also picking up 50 receiving yards.

Centennial Baptist's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Wilder, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Centennial Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilder, they will take on Notus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
