Basketball Recap: Father Capodanno Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Asheboro Hybrid Academy, Father Capodanno was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the Haw River Christian Academy Archers 55-53. The victory was some much needed relief for the Grunts as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Father Capodanno's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Haw River Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Father Capodanno will host Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Haw River Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bradford Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
