Buffalo Grove came out on top against Saint Viator on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Bison put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brooklyn Edler spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Erin Ryan was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Sammi Wolverton also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Buffalo Grove's record is now 6-8. As for Saint Viator, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo Grove will host Elk Grove at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saint Viator, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montini Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
