Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Shields secured a 54-50 W over Southside. Shields has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Southside, too.

Shields' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Southside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Shields will take on T.R. Miller in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southside, they will head out to face off against Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
