Volleyball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer lost against Loyal back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Greyhounds. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spencer took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 26-24.

Ema Schultz paced Spencer's offense, picking up nine kills. Schultz got some help from Chloe Timm and her 19 assists.

Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Loyal, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spencer will take on rival Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Loyal is set to square off against their familiar foe Colby at 7:15 p.m. on October 2.
