Toronto has gone 8-2 against Catholic Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Red Knights will take on the Crusaders in a tournament on Monday. The timing is sure in Toronto's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Catholic Central has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

The Red Knights had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Knights have posted against the Tigers since September 8, 2016.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Toronto got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Catholic Central didn't have quite enough to beat David Anderson on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

Catholic Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-7, 25-12.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Toronto, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
