Softball Recap: Treutlen Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Treutlen's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Hawkinsville Red Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Vikings have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cloey Hutcheson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Jayden Rogers, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Treutlen lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Treutlen pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hawkinsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Coming up, Treutlen will welcome Warner Robins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hawkinsville, they will challenge Schley County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
