Volleyball Recap: Eagle River Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Dimond + How To Watch

Eagle River faced Dimond in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolves came up short against the Lynx, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-18.

Eagle River has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 32-15-1 record this season. As for Dimond, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-11-1 record this season.

Eagle River will head out on the road to take on West Anchorage at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dimond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
