Recap: Aquinas Monarchs vs. Pierce Bluejays
The Aquinas Monarchs won against the Pierce Bluejays on Tuesday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Aquinas snuck past Pierce with a 55-51 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Aquinas.
Bryant Stouffer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The contest was his 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garett Novacek, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Aquinas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Pierce, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aquinas will square off against Twin River on Tuesday. Pierce's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
