Clarke County and Providence Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clarke County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 17-14. The Bulldogs have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Clarke County's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Providence Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Clarke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-14 victory against Loachapoka on the 14th.
