Baseball Recap: Tuscola Mountaineers vs. North Buncombe Black Hawks
Tuscola unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the North Buncombe Black Hawks by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Mountaineers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
Tuscola got a good showing from Mason Harrell, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
