It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Elkhorn South Storm had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past Lincoln East with a 24-19 win. The win was nothing new for Elkhorn South as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Brady Bousquet got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns.

Lincoln East's loss came despite strong showings from Dash Bauman and Jeter Worthley. Bauman rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown, while Worthley rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Elkhorn South's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lincoln East, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Elkhorn South will take on Millard South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Millard South is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Lincoln East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
