Soccer Game Preview: Southeast Career Tech vs. Canyon Springs

The Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners will challenge the Canyon Springs Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Southeast Career Tech is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Legacy get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Southeast Career Tech, who have now won four matchups in a row.

They hit Legacy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Melina Clavel, Liyah Elfberg, and Cristal Lara.

Meanwhile, Canyon Springs made easy work of Spring Valley on Saturday and carried off a 4-0 win. Canyon Springs haven't had any issues with Spring Valley recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Canyon Springs' win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Southeast Career Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 20-1-1.

Southeast Career Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Canyon Springs in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 4-2. Do the Roadrunners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
