Soccer Recap: Freeport Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Freeport can now relate to. They lost 4-0 to the Greely Rangers on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Freeport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Greely are ranked sixth).

Freeport's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Greely, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Freeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greely, they will host Morse at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
