Volleyball Recap: University Trailblazers vs. Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers
Indiana School for the Deaf typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday University proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Deaf Hoosiers. The Trailblazers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).
University never let Indiana School for the Deaf on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-7, 25-19.
Brooke Henderson paced University's offense, picking up 11 kills. Henderson got some help from Nyla Blanding and her 25 assists. Kallie Tarvin controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Madison Dray and Carrie Eicher certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Dray had ten digs and one assist, while Eicher had 11 assists and five digs.
