Football Recap: Jaiden Brooks and Makel Wilder Pace Old Mill Defense

If Old Mill was feeling good fresh off their 49-0 takedown of North County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell just short of the Severna Park Falcons by a score of 17-14 on Friday. Despite 216 more yards than the Falcons, the Patriots couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Old Mill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaiden Brooks and Makel Wilder.

Having lost for the first time this season, Old Mill fell to 5-1. As for Severna Park, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Old Mill has already played their next contest, a 16-10 loss against Broadneck on the 17th. As for Severna Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 22-14 victory against Arundel on the 17th.
