Football Recap: Clairton Picks Up 15th Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Clairton extended their postseason success on Thursday against Bishop Guilfoyle. They blew past the Marauders 35-3. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Deon Lovelace-Pompey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Clairton proved: they limited Bishop Guilfoyle to a paltry zero yards per carry. The Bears' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.4.

Clairton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lovelace-Pompey and Donte Wright.

The victory (which was Clairton's 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.7 points over those games. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-3.
