Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Plattsmouth

Plattsmouth extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Mila Wehrbein. The Plattsmouth Blue Devils strolled past the Syracuse Rockets with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 42-24 thanks in part to Wehrbein, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on her way to 18 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Plattsmouth is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Syracuse, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Plattsmouth will face off against Ashland-Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Plattsmouth is facing Ashland-Greenwood at the right time seeing as Ashland-Greenwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Syracuse, they will take on Fort Calhoun at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Calhoun will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Syracuse surely won't give up without a fight.
