It's playoff time, and Southington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Darien Blue Wave with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Blue Knights were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Blue Wave, so the Blue Knights were just returning the favor.

While Southington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Darien scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Paige Raines, who had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October.

Southington has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11-3 record this season. As for Darien, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Southington nor Darien have any future games scheduled.
