Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Mavericks vs. Boiling Springs Bulldogs

Mauldin and Boiling Springs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mauldin had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

While Mauldin had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22.

Coleman Wheatley had an outrageously good game for Boiling Springs as he had three digs and one block. Wheatley has been hot, having also posted 17 or more assists the last five times he's played.
