Walden Grove won the last time they faced Desert View and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Wolves snuck past the Jaguars with a 42-36 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Wolves.

Among those leading the charge was Mitchel Collins, who posted 20 points.

Despite the defeat, Desert View saw an underclassman step up: freshman Gabriel Felix put up 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Edgar Holguin, who had six points.

Walden Grove's record now sits at 2-0. As for Desert View, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Walden Grove has already played their next contest, a 55-16 victory against Catalina on the 28th. As for Desert View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-29 loss against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on the 28th.
