Softball Recap: Calipatria Comes Up Short

Calipatria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-21 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warner Wildcats. Even if the Hornets couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Calipatria's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Warner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Calipatria has already played their next contest (against Julian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Warner, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-11 win against Borrego Springs on the 16th.
