Southeast of Saline barely beat Ellsworth the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Bearcats 12-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Trojans have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Southeast of Saline, bringing their record up to 12-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Ellsworth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast of Saline will take on Lyons on Thursday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Ellsworth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Republic County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats are facing the Buffaloes at the right time seeing as the Buffaloes are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
