Baseball Recap: Darrington Takes a Loss

Darrington lost against Friday Harbor on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Loggers lost 8-1 to the Wolverines. The Loggers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Darrington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Stuvland, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Darrington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Friday Harbor, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Darrington will host Lake Quinault at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Friday Harbor, they will head out on the road to square off against Sultan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines are facing the Turks at the right time seeing as the Turks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
