Grafton won the last time they faced Jamestown and things went their way on Friday too. The Clippers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-3. With that win, the Clippers brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Alexis Henley, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Gianna Mullvihill, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Grafton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Jamestown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Grafton will welcome Petersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Clippers are facing the Crimson Wave at the right time seeing as the Crimson Wave are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Jamestown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
