Hanover and Scituate are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Sailors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hanover will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Hanover got the win against Quincy by a conclusive 42-21. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won four games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Scituate strolled past North Quincy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 26-7. Given the Sailors' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Raiders are ranked 87th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hanover's record is now 5-2. As for Scituate, their record now sits at 6-1.

Hanover was dealt a bruising 52-0 defeat at the hands of Scituate in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
