Volleyball Recap: Front Royal Homeschool Comes Up Short at Home Against Northern Virginia Homeschool

Front Royal HomeSchool unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions on Tuesday. The Flames haven't had much luck with the Centurions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-16.

Northern Virginia HomeSchool's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Northern Virginia HomeSchool will square off against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Front Royal HomeSchool will be paying especially close attention to the Centurions' game: after the Centurions face off against Covenant Christian Academy, they'll take on Front Royal HomeSchool again at 7:00 p.m. on October 9.
