It was a good run, but Half Moon Bay unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 55-45 to the Harker Eagles. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Half Moon Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Harker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

While Half Moon Bay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
