University Prep Value has gone a perfect 4-0 against Gertz-Ressler recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolves will take on the Pumas at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with University Prep Value sitting on ten straight victories and Gertz-Ressler on six.

On Wednesday, University Prep Value earned a 3-1 win over Animo Robinson.

University Prep Value had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 26-24, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Gertz-Ressler hadn't done well against Animo Robinson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Pumas came out on top against the Monarchs by a score of 3-1.

In the three sets Gertz-Ressler was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-27, 25-15, 25-10.

University Prep Value's record now sits at 18-5. As for Gertz-Ressler, their record is now 13-7.

University Prep Value beat Gertz-Ressler 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
