Baseball Game Preview: Spring Lions vs. Dekaney Wildcats

For the second straight game, Spring will face off against Dekaney. The Lions will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Spring has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Dekaney will arrive with six straight victories.

It was a proper cat-fight when Spring faced off against Dekaney on Tuesday. The Lions fell 7-3 to the Wildcats.

Spring got a good showing from Noah Martinez, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs Martinez has allowed since back in February.

At the plate, Spring saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Moises Arb, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Spring's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Dekaney, their win bumped their record up to 13-10-2.
