Volleyball Recap: Shiocton Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Shiocton's tournament run continued when they took on New Glarus on Saturday. The Chiefs came out on top against the Glarner Knights by a score of 2-0.

Natalie Young paced Shiocton's offense, picking up eight kills. Young got some help from Brooke Beschta and her nine assists. Beschta was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shiocton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season. As for New Glarus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.

Shiocton has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Iola-Scandinavia on the 23rd. As for New Glarus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lancaster on the 21st.
