Basketball Game Preview: Lower Dauphin Falcons vs. Cedar Cliff Colts

The Lower Dauphin Falcons will challenge the Cedar Cliff Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Lower Dauphin came up short against Hershey and fell 58-50. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Cedar Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-30 heartbreaker at the hands of Palmyra. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while the Cougars are ranked 274th).

Cedar Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Lower Dauphin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Lower Dauphin beat Cedar Cliff 59-46 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Does Lower Dauphin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cedar Cliff turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
