Baseball Recap: Easton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Colonel Richardson last Thursday, Easton came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the St. Michaels Saints on Monday, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Easton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Cassell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Easton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for St. Michaels, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Easton will venture away from home to challenge North Dorchester at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for St. Michaels, they are taking a road trip to take on Pocomoke at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
