Recap: Providence Grove Patriots vs. East Davidson Golden Eagles
The Providence Grove Patriots entered their tilt with the East Davidson Golden Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Providence Grove walked away with a 53-41 victory over East Davidson on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Providence Grove also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Providence Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than JADA NIXON, who scored 16 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which NIXON has scored at least 25% of Providence Grove's points. ASIA STEVERSON was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Providence Grove's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Providence Grove's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southern Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for East Davidson, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
