Riverton waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Springfield Southeast Spartans by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Riverton never let Springfield Southeast on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11.

Riverton can attribute much of their success to Brooke Stoll, who had eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces Stoll has posted since back in October of 2024.

Riverton's record is now 14-7. As for Springfield Southeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Riverton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Centennial on the 3rd. As for Springfield Southeast, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against West Prairie on the 3rd.
