Volleyball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

Reading extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-25-2. They lost 3-0 to the Madison Trojans. If the Rangers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Madison, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-14-2. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7th (when they won 3-0).

Kianna McKinney went supernova, getting 33 digs and one assist. Jazlyn Zaszczurynski also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Reading didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Napoleon on the 30th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Concord on the 30th.
