Northwest entered their tilt with Fox on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Northwest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-5, 25-23, 25-23.

Northwest now has a winning record of 6-5-2. As for Fox, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Northwest and Fox will both be playing Seckman the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Jaguars at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
