The Conemaugh Township Indians will square off against the Purchase Line Red Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Purchase Line took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Conemaugh Township, who comes in off a win.
Conemaugh Township had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt River Valley on Wednesday. Conemaugh Township blew past River Valley 17-2.
Colin Dinyar made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Brennan Lohr was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was DJ Bambino, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Conemaugh Township always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Valley only posted an OBP of .389.
Meanwhile, Purchase Line might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was Conemaugh Valley who claimed the real prize. Purchase Line came up short against Conemaugh Valley, falling 13-1. The Red Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Purchase Line saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Moyer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Conemaugh Township's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Purchase Line, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Conemaugh Township took their victory against Purchase Line when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-1. Does Conemaugh Township have another victory up their sleeve, or will Purchase Line turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
