Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clearwater Valley). They came out on top against the Troy Trojans by a score of 62-53 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-41 back in November of 2024.

Clearwater Valley had a senior duo take command as Taya Pfefferkorn went 10 of 19 on her way to 23 points and Eva Lundgren went 8 for 17 on her way to 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pfefferkorn has scored all season.

Clearwater Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Troy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kamiah the next time they take the court. Clearwater Valley will head out to face Kamiah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Troy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
