Football Recap: Novi Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Novi's offense. They were beaten by the Howell Highlanders 42-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Highlanders are ranked 47th).

Bryce Kish had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 93 yards and four scores for Howell. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Kish a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for Novi and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Howell, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Novi is set to take on their familiar foe Northville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Howell will challenge rival Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Highlanders 10.1, the Bulldogs 12.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
