Football Game Preview: Batavia Bulldogs vs. Glenbard North Panthers + How To Watch

Batavia has gone a perfect 9-0 against Glenbard North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. Batavia will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Batavia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Glenbard East with a sharp 42-21 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Michael Vander Luitgaren produced another solid performance throwing for 254 yards and three TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 159.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Batavia's leading receiver Darin Ashiru was Vander Luitgaren's top target yet again, picking up 40 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Glenbard North earned a 22-14 win over Moline on Saturday.

Batavia better keep an eye on Donato Gatses. He was instrumental in Glenbard North's win, rushing for 235 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. They are undefeated when Gatses posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Zechariah Morris also helped out with an impressive 136 receiving yards.

Glenbard North was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. They are a perfect 8-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Batavia's record is now 9-2. As for Glenbard North, their record now sits at 8-3.
