Basketball Recap: New Madrid County Central Comes Up Short

New Madrid County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 54-20 loss at the hands of the Twin Rivers Royals. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Madrid County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Twin Rivers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

New Madrid County Central will welcome Sikeston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Twin Rivers, they will square off against Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
