Football Recap: Clark Takes Down Silverado in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clark had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They secured a 30-24 W over the Silverado Skyhawks. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 51-20 win the Skyhawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2019.

Felix Romero produced another solid effort rushing for 188 yards and three TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.

Clark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Denim Holden and Zayne Moorman.

Clark is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points over those games. As for Silverado, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Clark will challenge Sports Leadership & Management at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Romero and Greg Cortez. Silverado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
