There's no place like home for Tempe, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 75-64 win over the Shadow Mountain Matadors on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Tempe's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Murphy, who posted 15 points along with six assists and five steals. Josiah Criss was another key player, putting up 19 points and three steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Tempe was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Tempe's record is now 2-5. As for Shadow Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Tempe won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marcos de Niza at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
