Immanuel Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lee Vining Tigers. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20.

Ava Blakie paced Immanuel Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Blakie got some help from Neisha Schollars and her 32 assists. Finally, Blakie was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high eight blocks.

Immanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Lee Vining, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
