Volleyball Recap: Concord's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Concord saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers. The loss put an end to the Yellowjackets' undefeated start to the season.

Annie Saenz paced Concord's offense, picking up seven kills. Saenz got some help from Bradie Lehman and her 15 assists. Lehman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Concord fell to 2-1-1.

Coincidentally, Concord and St. Philip Catholic Central will both be playing Hillsdale Academy the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Colts at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, while the Fighting Tigers will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
