Basketball Recap: St. Francis de Sales Comes Up Short

St. Francis de Sales was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the King Jaguars.

St. Francis de Sales' loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for King, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis de Sales will venture away from home to face off against De La Salle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the King Jaguars take on the Longwood Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in King's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
