Softball Recap: Marshall County Takes a Loss

Marshall County couldn't beat Christian County on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Marshals fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 6-5. The Marshals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Marshall County's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Christian County, their record is now 19-12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall County will challenge Trigg County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Marshals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Christian County, they will take on Crittenden County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
