Millsap and Eastland are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will square off against the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Millsap and Breckenridge had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs fell 10-7 to the Buckaroos on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Buckaroos recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Reid Green was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he gave up only three walks, the fewest he's had since back in February. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Dawson Lynch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Devon Briscoe, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Eastland suffered their closest defeat since March 28, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Dublin by a score of 12-10. Mavericks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lions since on Friday.

Eastland's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-2. As for Millsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Everything went Millsap's way against Eastland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Millsap made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
