Volleyball Recap: Blue Valley North Comes Up Short

Blue Valley North's tournament run continued when they took on Staley on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Falcons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11.

Reese Maslowski paced Blue Valley North's offense, picking up ten kills. Maslowski got some help from Louise Wombolt and her 11 assists.

Blue Valley North's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Staley, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 14-17 record.

Blue Valley North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Shawnee Mission East on the 18th. Staley has also already played their next matchup (against Basehor-Linwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
